Deb R. Collins
Deb paints impressionist and abstract landscapes in watercolor with a deep love of color and movement in her work. Her latest paintings are an invitation for the viewer to join her in an exciting, colorful, and crazy adventure into her world and hopefully find something new and colorful in themselves.
Ms. Collins has been painting since childhood and is influenced by modern graffiti street art as well as master painters such as Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keefe, and Mark Rothko. Deb primarily paints in watercolor because she like its unpredictability and has found it to be an interesting and challenging medium. She discovers new techniques and incorporates these into her work through constant experimentation.
Deb compliments her artistic obsession with a technical but always creative job, and often volunteers her time at a local non-profit organization doing web and graphic design work. In addition she regularly donates paintings for non-profit charity auctions.
