REMINDER: There’s Still Time to Participate in Milestone 3 for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail Project!

This fall, the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) kicked off Milestone 3 for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail (ZEPRT) Project to share updates on rail and trail alignment options, project funding opportunities, ridership modeling approach, stations, bridge structures, and noise impacts. If you didn’t get a chance to engage with us yet, don’t worry as there’s still time to participate and provide your input!

Visit our Virtual Open House at ZEPRT.com anytime, 24/7, through Dec. 20
Learn more about project updates, review the alignment maps presented at our in-person community workshops, take our survey, and submit a comment or ask a question. Also, if you missed our in-person November Community Workshops, click here to watch a recording of the presentation.

The ZEPRT project proposes new passenger rail service and stations on approximately 22 miles of the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line and 12 miles of Coastal Rail Trail: Segments 13-20 as well as the Capitola Trestle reach (Segment 11, Phase 2). For more information on the ZEPRT Project, visit sccrtc.org/zeprt.
