Regional Transportation Commission
Regular Meetings of the RTC
Commission meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of each month and start at 9:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted. There are no meetings in July. Meetings are cancelled when there are no agenda items to be considered.
- Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) Meetings: The first Commission meeting of the month covers a full agenda on the scope of the RTC’s work and is televised on Community TV.
- Transportation Policy Workshop (TPW) Meetings: The second Commission meeting of the month offers a forum for more informal and in-depth discussion on a limited set of agenda topics.
Remote Participation
Members of the public may participate in RTC meetings in person at the physical location, or remotely via Zoom. All information needed to participate in the RTC meeting is listed on the first page of the agenda.

Commission Members
The Commission consists of five members of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors, one member each of the Watsonville, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley and Capitola City Councils, and three members appointed by the Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District.
The Caltrans District 5 Director serves as an ex-officio member of the Commission.
