Construction Contractors List Sign-up

The Regional Transportation Commission has elected (Ordinance 2019-1) to become subject to the uniform public construction cost accounting procedures of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCAA) as well as the policies and procedures and cost accounting review procedures of the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission. An informal bidding process may be followed for public works construction projects estimated to cost up to $220,000. The RTC will send a notice inviting bids from those contractors who are on our Informal Bidding Contractors List.

For larger projects estimated to cost more than $220,000, the RTC uses a formal public works bidding process and maintains a separate Formal Bidding Contractors List. This process utilizes an electronic bidding system (BidExpress).

Interested contractors may sign up for one or both lists.
