Video Recording Now Available for June 9 Zero Emission Passenger Rail & Trail Project Informational Community Session

Thank you to those who were able to join the RTC on June 9th for an Informational Community Session focused on ridership projections and cost estimates for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail (ZEPRT) project.

If you missed this informative discussion, then you can still watch the video to learn about updates regarding projections for the number of riders that would take the train, including boardings at each proposed station as well as ZEPRT project cost estimates for both capital and operating expenses.

Visit sccrtc.org/zeprt for details on upcoming engagement opportunities to learn more about the Draft Project Concept, ask questions and provide feedback.

The ZEPRT project proposes new passenger rail service and stations on approximately 22 miles of the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line and 12 miles of Coastal Rail Trail: Segments 13-20 as well as the Capitola Trestle reach (Segment 11, Phase 2). For more information on the ZEPRT Project, visit sccrtc.org/zeprt.
