Public Input Sought on 2050 Regional Transportation Plan Goals and Policies
The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is currently seeking public input to help define the Goals and Policies for the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), the long-range countywide transportation plan that serves as a guide for future transportation improvement projects by assessing the transportation challenges we face now and those we will face in the future.
Members of the public are asked to provide input to help inform the plan by taking a very short survey. Answers from the survey will help the RTC update the Draft Goals and Policies and define priority projects across the county. So far, the Draft Goals and Policies revise those from the 2045 RTP by making each goal more straightforward and placing greater focus on climate resilience and social equity.
The deadline to take the survey and provide input on the Draft Goals and Policies for the 2050 Regional Transportation Plan is March 1, 2024.
