RTC Sharing Draft Project Concept for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail Project!

The RTC is sharing key components of the Draft Project Concept for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail (ZEPRT) project including conceptual rail and trail alignment, ridership projections, station locations and design, operations, and capital and operating cost estimates. Community input received throughout project planning has played a crucial role in the development of this project.

Additionally, the RTC Commission will receive a presentation tonight on the Draft Project Concept. Meeting agenda and details as well as the Project Concept Executive Summary can be viewed at https://www.sccrtc.org/meetings/regional-transportation-commission/agendas/. The RTC Commission will also hold a public hearing on August 7, 2025 to accept public comments on the project.
