A Safer Felton: Pedestrian Improvements Town Hall with Caltrans

Want to learn more about the pedestrian safety improvements underway in Felton?

Join Supervisor Martinez’s town hall on Thursday, October 22 at 6:30 p.m. to hear updates from Caltrans about the State Route 9 Felton Safety Improvements project, commonly known as the “sidewalk project.” Once complete, the project will add a sidewalk between the SLV tri-campus and the Graham Hill Road intersection creating a safer route for students, families, and other pedestrians in the community.

At the town hall, Caltrans will provide an overview of the project’s history and purpose, share updates and upcoming timelines, and discuss other important information for the community. Caltrans will also give a high-level over of other projects planned or underway in the San Lorenzo Valley area.

Representatives from the San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District and the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission will join the conversation.
