Help Shape Transportation Solutions for Santa Cruz County’s North Coast
The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) invites you to a virtual community workshop for the North Coast Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan on Thursday, May 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
The North Coast TDM Plan is focused on managing travel demand and expanding sustainable travel options along a 22-mile stretch of rural Highway 1 from the northern city limits of Santa Cruz to the Santa Cruz/San Mateo County line. Currently, transportation alternatives are limited, and visitor demand often exceeds available parking, leading to congestion and safety issues throughout the corridor.
At this virtual workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn more about the North Coast TDM Plan
- Share your experiences traveling in the corridor
- Provide input on strategies to reduce traffic, improve safety, and expand transportation choices
Your feedback will help shape transportation strategies that support safer, more sustainable, and more accessible travel for everyone.
