RTC to Host Informational Community Session on Conceptual Alignment & Operations for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail & Trail Project


The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is hosting an Informational Community Session on conceptual alignment and operations updates for the Zero Emission Passenger Rail and Trail (ZEPRT) project.
Informational Community Session:
Tuesday, April 1st from 6-7:15 p.m.
During this session, the ZEPRT team will share updates on the project’s conceptual alignment and operations that will support intercity passenger rail service, including information related to preliminary travel times, station locations and rail vehicles. Community members and interested stakeholders are invited to participate to learn more and ask questions.

The ZEPRT project proposes new passenger rail service and stations on approximately 22 miles of the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line and 12 miles of Coastal Rail Trail: Segments 13-20 as well as the Capitola Trestle reach (Segment 11, Phase 2).
