Under general direction, plans, organizes, and directs subordinate staff and acts as a technical expert performing the most difficult and complex work. Provides direction on the implementation of policies related to transportation and environmental planning and programming, including expert professional assistance and support to the Director of Planning, Programming and Transportation Services, and undertakes special planning studies, projects and programs as assigned. This is the full supervisory level.
